The Batik stamp is a traditional tool used in the Batik block-printing technique, also known as Batik Cap. It plays a key role in creating repetitive, symmetrical patterns on fabric quickly and consistently—making it an essential tool in both traditional and modern Batik production.

🔍 Main Functions of the Batik Stamp:

✅ 1. Applies Hot Wax to Fabric

• The stamp is dipped into hot wax, then pressed onto the fabric.

• The wax blocks dye from penetrating certain areas, just like with the hand-drawn (Batik Tulis) method.

• This process forms resist patterns that remain white (or original fabric color) after dyeing.

✅ 2. Speeds Up the Batik Process

• Unlike Batik Tulis (which is drawn by hand using a canting), the Batik stamp allows for faster production.
